A Black Wednesday !

Only if the Cowards were little Brave enough to have a Heart.....

They came, they destroyed, they finished everything….

And all the so called politicians who claim to be the “saviours” of Mumbai were absent...

They are teenagers who have come out of their college life and just started their professional career. They are well educated, and earn a decent package. But still not normal. They have been brainwashed completely. They have been trained on how to fire at the innocent people, how to kill the top officials in the police force and make them even more weaker, how not to have mercy while killing the helpless be it small children or old people or even the stray dogs, how not to shed a tear while bursting those grenade bombs which killed a large number at a time, how they only smiled when they played their role as a ‘perfect terrorist’.

Mumbai had to go through this blow. Had the army and navy not been there we would have still got to see more blood and destruction.

Where is Mr. Raj Thackrey who always claims that Mumbai is an asset to him and he will do his best to save Mumbai from the outsiders (The Biharis). What happened now?. Today the outsiders came and one by one went on paralyzing all the strengths of our city.

Why doesn’t MNS or Shiv Sena come help the victims or help the police force? Instead of beating up the North Indians they should have used their forces to keep a check on the everyday crowd which would have been of some help to the society.

Where is Mr.Laloo Prasad Yadav who managed to become a Railway Minister sitting in Bihar?

He can send his people here for a job, he can do the chaat puja here but now when it comes to improving the condition of local trains and giving some kind of proposal to ensure the safety to the people traveling everyday, he is not here.

These people who claim that Mumbai is their property, have no rights to say that because they have actually not done anything useful for this city. They only ended up creating communal riots, instead of using their power for the safety and unity of the city. Most of our politicians are on the death bed. But when it comes to elections rallies and votings they are always in the forefront. Their speeches, their promises all seem so fake.

Why didn't they ensure that our police force gets the best of the training and the best ammunition?

Why did they take a backseat and just see the fun?

Why is no one taking Mumbai’s responsibility?

Do they have an answer to these questions?

Our Fighters... are no more... !!!

Another night where our brave officials gave up their lives for our us. Our brave ATS officials Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and Ashok Kamte sacrificed their lives, while trying to solve the terror which happened on that dreadful night of 26th Nov 08. May be they were on the hitlist or may be it was their destiny. But the most suprising thing to be noticed is that they were killed by a bunch of 20-25 year-olds.The so called terrorists were successful in destroying the main pillars of our police force. Their motive was to kill people, create terror in the city. What we called the pride of our city The TAJ and The Oberoi is today in the hands of some outsiders who are ruining it completely.

Since the last 2 days there have been a large number of people who have laid down their lives trying to save the others. This includes the common man as well as the policemen. Our soldiers are still fighting, trying their best to destroy them completely. Our brave policemen who gave up their lives will always be remembered .Mumbai will never be able to forget 2008.

Even now we have our army and navy officers who have entered these places. We are still unaware as to how many of them are still alive inside.

But they are fighting, though they do not have the best of the weapons, or the latest techniques. They are very weak compared to the terrorists, but they have still gone in to take revenge from these “outsiders”, to show them that their death has come near and they do not have an option but to die as a loser, as a coward who only targeted the innocent people, they have gone inside to fix their appointment with God.

Mumbai Meri Jaan....

My association with Bombay started from 27th February 1985. Right from the 01st day of my life. I am born and brought up in this mad city and always felt very secure. I never really thought of visiting the other metros or any other place outside Mumbai as I still cant get enough of this place.

Bombay is very special. This is the only city which has accepted people from everywhere and made their dreams come true.

Our lifeline – The local trains look very funny if they are not crowded.
We feel so disgusting when we miss a train.
8.44 or 9.01 are the timings of the trains and our watches also are adjusted in such way so that they could match the railway clocks.
Here you will find different sets of friends, Childhood friends, school friends, building friends, office friends and ‘train friends’ which are the most important part of our day to day life. We discuss politics, religion, current affairs, Bollywood , Big Boss and many more things in our 1 hour journey.

The traffic on roads take up so much of place that a minimum time to reach any destination would be one hour.

Be it Linking Road or Crawford Market we proudly show of our bargaining skills and when we win the happiness and contentment on our faces is worth seeing.
We love eating the roadside vadapavs, panipuris, pavbhaji that we completely forget about hygiene. And to top it all a cutting chai …

When it comes to God- Mumbai celebrates every festival with a lot of involvement, excitement and enthusiasm. We love bursting loud crackers inspite of the warnings given to us. We play extra loud music during Ganpati.
Though the deadline says 10 but we end our dandiya sessions only by 12 or 1. Basically we love breaking the rules.

We are very keen on making small incidents into ‘breaking news’, be it Jaya Bacchan wanting to speak shudh Hindi or Ganpati Baapa drinking milk and water. News channels are most wanted. We get to see a lot masala on T.V thanks to our journalists.

Now a days pubs are very famous. People share their joys and sorrows here. Celebrations are done on a large scale all thanks to ‘Happy Hours’.
A colleague’s promotion, reunion of college friends, a best friend’s breakup or just nothing at all. Pubs play a very significant role in out lives.

Bollywood- 90% of Mumbai;s population loves our Hindi Picture. They go for all the 01st day 01st shows even if the newspapers show bad reviews.
We love standing for hours outside Salman’s house and patiently wait, just to catch a glimpse of him and on the other hand we get so impatient when our better half doesn’t turn up on time on a date.

We actively participate in sending SMS for KBC or Dus ka Dum with a hope that it’ll click one day and we would be in the hot seat. Even though each SMS costs us Rs.7.

Inspite of so many loopholes and so many problems we still stand out from everyone. Its only because of the spirit of Mumbai that we still take a train to go to work inspite of experiencing the blasts right in front of us.

Whether it’s Tsunami or the Bihar floods we donate money wholeheartedly.
Mumbai has been through a mess with companies going bankrupt, call centers shutting down, market going down, water logging during the rains, load shedding during summers, and many other things.
But it is still fighting. We can never dream of having a perfect metro but make the best of what we have.
After al lYeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan….
